Senior Landscape Architect

VIRIDIS Design Group is seeking to add a Senior Landscape Architect to our talented team. We are an award-winning landscape architecture firm with offices in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo Michigan. We are looking for an individual to join our Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo Office who is as passionate as we are about delivering inspirational projects, engaging with the community, and realizing their full potential as a leader in the firm and profession. This professional must be capable of visioning, developing, and advancing design concepts to create technically sound, innovative designs for implementation while successfully leading multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal Candidate Attributes

A. Design, Management, & Collaboration

  • Ability to develop ideas, work independently, and manage internal project teams and budgets with input from firm Principals.

  • Perform multiple tasks and lead multiple projects concurrently.

  • Ability to develop SD, DD & CD level submittal packages.

  • Knowledge of ordinances, permitting, and the ability to manage construction documentation and construction administration.
     

 

B. Communication

  • Have experience with proposal writing, creating, and maintaining lasting client relationships and the motivation to engage in business development efforts.

  • Effective written, graphic, and oral communication skills.

  • The ability to communicate clearly and concisely with clients, project teams and construction professionals.
     

 

C. Technology

  • Proficiency in Autocad, MS Office, Adobe CC, GIS, and 3D visualization (Rhino, SketchUp, Lumion, etc).
     

 

D. Education, Licensure, and Experience

  • Licensed Landscape Architect

  • Minimum of 10 years professional experience

  • Project management experience

Compensation

Commensurate with Experience
