Entry Level Landscape Architect/Designer

VIRIDIS Design Group is seeking to add an Entry Level Landscape Architect to our talented team. We are an award-winning landscape architecture firm with offices in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo Michigan. We are landscape architects devoted to design that matters, design that makes a difference, and design that contributes to the well-being of the communities we work in.

We are looking for an individual to join our Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo Office who is as passionate as we are about delivering inspirational projects, engaging with the community, and realizing their full potential as a leader in the firm and profession.

Ideal Candidate Attributes

A. Design & Collaboration

  • Experience assisting on all aspects of planning and design projects from conceptual design through construction administration.

  • Ability to develop ideas, work independently with input from senior team members.

  • Work collaboratively with internal and external team members in developing creative solutions.

  • Perform multiple tasks and support multiple projects concurrently.

  • Knowledge of construction detailing and the ability to support and elevate design concepts through construction documentation and implementation.

 

B. Communication

  • Effective written, graphic, and oral communication skills

  • The capability of communicating design intent through use of hand and computer graphics.

 

C. Technology

  • Proficiency in Autocad, MS Office, Adobe CC, GIS, and 3D visualization (Rhino, SketchUp, Lumion, etc).

 

D. Education, Licensure, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.

  • Working towards licensure.

  • 0- 5 years professional experience.

Compensation

Commensurate with Experience
