Together with local business leaders and city officials, VIRIDIS Design Group transformed an unused lot in the heart of downtown Hastings into a vibrant, cultural destination. Nestled along the Hastings Cinema, a colorful mural serves as a backdrop to an interactive water feature, blending public art and play. Terraced seatwalls are directed towards a community amphitheater dedicated to celebrating the performing arts. Careful consideration was taken to integrate the local Downtown character into the design to create a welcoming public space that supports the community's vision of developing an economically viable and cohesive urban core.
