VIRIDIS Design Group provided professional design services to the City of Fennville and Fennville District Library in a combined project for a 70x70 micro park and library entry revitalization. VIRIDIS was responsible for leading the process through all phases of the project including schematic design, agency permitting and reviews, construction documentation, bidding, and construction administration.

VIRIDIS Design Group's design for the micro park focused on the development of inter-related, but distinct rooms, revolving around a unique central fire place. The intimate spaces foster intergenerational gatherings, support programmed and impromptu activities, and offer collaborative spaces for local businesses.

VIRIDIS Design Group's design for the library site sought to transform a distraught entry sequence from parking lot to door into a vibrant and accessible social hub. The new front porch plays hosts to a wide variety of library events and offers a relaxing environment for daily use. The parking lot was expanded and leveled, incorporating accessibility improvements, and incorporating green infrastructure for stormwater management.
