Woody loves experiencing music and owns several guitars. He enjoys attending live shows and concerts of all types, and plays bass guitar at his church.

Woody is quick to offer a wealth of information about building codes and details. His leadership is strengthened by his ability as a keen listener, understanding of cost effective sustainable strategies, as well as his proficient project management skills. His collaborative approach with clients, consultants, and designers guides projects to successful conclusions.

With a passion for K-12 and higher education campuses, Woody's background in landscape architecture and computer science bring clients a combination of acute spatial pragmatism and technical knowledge that result in inspiring and cost effective design solutions. Additionally, as a Certified Playground Inspector, Woody creatively bridges safety and playfulness. His comprehensive contextual approach makes each project responsive to its surroundings and a memorable place for students, staff and visitors.

Woody spends time volunteering in the community by being a Big Brother with the Big Brothers, Big Sisters organization. He comes from a big family, is a native of Battle Creek, and is a bit of a history buff!
